The 2025 Annual Report highlights our progress in advancing sound management of chemicals and waste to protect human health and the environment. Throughout 2025, CEJAD implemented key projects, contributed to international environmental policy processes, and strengthened partnerships with governments, civil society, and communities.

Major achievements included generating scientific evidence on toxic chemicals in plastics and food chains, and promoting safer, sustainable agricultural alternatives. CEJAD also amplified the voices of waste pickers and strengthened civil society coalitions working to address plastic pollution and improve waste governance.

Through research, advocacy, and community engagement, CEJAD continued to advance national, regional, and global efforts to protect human health and the environment, moving closer to its vision of a just and Sustainable society free of toxic chemicals
